CLD Director Speaks before U.S. Senate Committee

Dr. Daniel Crimmins, director of the Center for Leadership in Disability, testified on July 12 before the full U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions regarding the use of seclusion and restraint practices in schools. Crimmins, along with three fellow panel experts, spoke about the success of a Georgia rule passed two years ago that eliminated the use of seclusion and restricted most forms of restraint when attempting to modify or control the behavior for any student.
